Situated at southern-west part of the West Lake scenic area backing on Wuyun Mountain, Qiantang River to its south, Song Dynasty Town Tourist Sport is the first largest and biggest theme park featuring the civilization of Song Dynasty in China, which is invested and built by Hangzhou Worldland and Song Dynasty Town Co.Ltd.
Sony Dynasty (A.D.960-1279) was the period of ripe feudal society in which the development of economy, science technology and culture was advanced in the world at that time. Song Dynasty Town just demonstrates the rich cultural contents during Song Dynasty. The Town is mainly divided into the reappearance of the painting "A town Street Look of Spring in Song Dynasty", Nine Dragon Square, Song Dynasty Town Square, Fairy Hill &WonderfuI Tower Square and Emperor Palace, Custom Romance Street in Southern Song Dynasty.
The completion of the town is a natural integration with the West Lake in the civilization of "Two Song Dynastises", and the Song Cultural Tourism in Hangzhou is given the proper position. Realism and romanticism are together in the construction of the town, originating from history but higher than history. According to the painting by famous painter Zhang Zeduan in Song Dynasty and Song construction style, a prosperous imitation for that time is presented just as the real one.The design of the town has also distinct gradation, lingering charm, rhythm and ancient history, a vast space both for visiting and thinking. Hangzhou belongs to subtropical monsoonal climate. It is warm and humid with distinct seasons. The annual temperature is 16.2℃. Touriss could visit Hangzhou all year round, view Peach blossoms in spring, lotus in summer, sweet-scented osmanthus in autumn and plum blossoms in winter. There are famous scenes worth seeing in every season. Mid-June is the “plum rain” period of Hangzhou when it is rainy, hot and muggy. Such weather will last for 20 days. The best travel time for Song Dynasty Town is spring and autumn. The temperature is comfortable, and there is Water Splashing Festival in August and Songcheng Tiandong Festivil in October.
