Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (杭州萧山国际机场) is an important trunk line airport of China. It serves the tourism city Hangzhou (杭州), the provincial capital of Zhejiang (浙江), and also serves as a major alternate landing airport for Shanghai Pudong International Airport (浦东国际机场).

The airport is located on the southern bank of Qiantang River in the Xiaoshan district and is about 17 miles (27km) away from the city center of Hangzhou. The IATA airport code is HGH.

  • Hotel

Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport Aviation Hotel is located near the Air Traffic Management Center and under the beacon tower within the airport. The dining room has 13 boxes of different sizes, and together with the lobby, there are 300 seats for dinner.

  • Lounges

    • First class lounge. First class lounges are resting places specially prepared for passengers purchased first class or business class tickets. The airport has a total of five first class lounges. No.1 first class lounge is located in International Departure Hall; No.2, No.3, No.4, and No.5 first class lounges are located in the No.16, No.19, No.20 and No.13-15 boarding gates respectively.

There are also airport buses to prefectures further away near Hangzhou such as Yiwu (30 RMB one way) and Shaoxing (60 RMB one way). The buses from Shaoxing to Xiaoshan International Airport depart every hour from 8:30 to 17:30; and from the airport to Shaoxing every hour from 10:00 to 19:00. Buses from Yiwu to Xiaoshan International Airport depart hourly from 7:00 to 18:00; and from Xiaoshan International Airport to Yiwu buses hourly from 8:30 to 21:30.
