Better buy it at the station unless you want to pay twice the official price.
Have you checked out this blog entry how come major web sites are not selling train tickets?

Namaste! My friend! I'm a local resident in Ganzhou city, I know some Indian friends who study here. If you want buy the train ticket from Shenzhen West to Ganzhou on 25 Oct 2009, you MUST go to the Shenzhen West Train Station, and buy the ticket there. I think the ticket seller can not understand English, so you'd better ask a friend (who can talk in Chinese) to help you with that! Good luck~~
