Three Gorges Dam Tourism District covers an area of 15.28 square kilometers, and it has five sections: Three Gorges Dam Exhibition Center, Tanziling Park, 185 Park, Dam Park, and Flood Stopping Memorial Park. Tanziling Park has six parts: module exhibition hall, 10,000-year-old rock at the river bottom, rock of flood diversion closure, base rock of Three Gorges Dam, Silver Sky Book and view watching platform. Besides, there are spectacular foundations, waterfalls, streams and grasslands. It is like a wonderland, sometimes calm and sometimes noisy. Dam watching place, the best place to watch the power and flood, is in front of the power plant, and it is. Views are different from different perspective, and the flood discharge will make your blood boiling.
Three-Gorges Dam combines modern architecture, natural scenery and scenery of humanities, and it is becoming a place of interest attracting tourists home and abroad.

- Get around:
- 1.Take Bus No. 3, 4, 9, 21 or 100, take off at Dasanxia Tranvel Agency ( opposite Pinghu Hotel, No. 80 of Dongshan Avenue), and change tourism bus to the scenic district.
- 2.Take Bus No. 4, 10, 21, 100 or 101, get off at the Yemingzhu Intersection, take Bus No. 8 and get off Liuzhashou Tourists Reception Center, and change sightseeing bus to tour around the dam.
- Drive:
Drive on the Hanyi Highway to the charge station at Dongshan Development Zone, enter Sanxia Dam Road, and do some check-in at Tourism Reception, and there are free tour guides to guide your trip. Drive to the Liuzhashou Tourists Reception Center, and chaged sightseeing bus to tour around the dam.

- 1.Children short than 120 cm ( 120 cm excluded) are for free;
- 2.Children between 120 cm and 140 cm ( 140 excluded) are charged 50 %;
- 3.Children taller than 140 cm (140 cm included) should buy full-charge tickets;
- 4.The old under 60 should buy full-charge tickets;
- 5.The old between 60 ( 60 included) and 69 and students with ID are charged 50 %;
- 6.The old above 70 ( 70 included) with ID are for free;
- 7.A 11-person (or more) tourism group ( children the old with discounted tickets included) can buy discounted tickets;
- 8.A 20-person (or more) school tourism group can buy discounted tickets with school introduction letter and ID;
- 9.A 20-person ( or more) old people (above 60 and 60 included) tourism group can buy discounted tickets with ID;
- 10.Tourism group organized by travel agency, the situation in Tip 8 and 9 is charged according to travel agency standard;
- 11.No change in holidays.

It is sub-tropical monsoon climate in Yichang. There is plenty of rainfall and warm. It is comfortable and the annual average temperature is 17 ℃. It is warm in winter, and average temperature is much higher than that in Wuhan, which lies in the same degree of latitude. It is best to travel here in Spring.
